Ed Hoel Receives TBJ SPACE Award for Largest Sale of the Year
Ed Hoel, Managing Principal of CresaPartners Raleigh, received the Triangle Business Journal's SPACE Award for the largest commercial real estate sales transaction of 2009.
CARY, NC, February 27, 2010 /Real Estate PR News/ -- The transaction that garnered Hoel's award was the acquisition by EMC Corporation of its new facility on Surles Court in Durham. EMC, the world leader in information infrastructure, needed additional space for the expansion of its operations in the Triangle. With over 19 years of commercial real estate experience, Hoel represented EMC in their purchase of the 450,000-square-foot industrial building, a transaction that closed at $22.6 million.
"Servicing EMC on a transaction of this size is one of the highlights of my career and a testament to our office's potential," said Hoel.
